Dulcy Maria was a college student who couldn’t help but be attuned to nature—not just in her love of hiking, but also in how her body reacted to the elements. Whenever the weather turned damp or chilly, her joints ached, splitting sinus headaches left her wiped out, and red, watery eyes made her the poster child for catching colds. Her friends affectionately dubbed her the “Rain Magnet.” Her sensitive skin told a story of its own, with tiny warts and occasional cold sores appearing like unwelcome guests. But Dulcy didn’t let any of these challenges get her down.
One rainy afternoon, while ducking into a quaint secondhand store for shelter, Dulcy discovered an old book on homeopathic remedies. The text was filled with treatments that perfectly addressed her specific ailments: headaches triggered by damp weather, cold-induced joint pain, and even skin conditions like warts and cold sores. To her amazement, the principles of homeopathy felt like they had been written just for her. She dove headfirst into learning about remedies and found a remedy named Dulcamara – made from bittersweet nightshade. It was the perfect homeopathic match for her sensitivities: ailments worsened by damp and cold weather, hay fever at the end of summer, and musculoskeletal aches.
Using the book as her guide, Dulcy began preparing homeopathic remedies for herself and her friends. Her natural intuition, combined with her botanical expertise, made her creations incredibly effective. Soon, Dulcy wasn’t just curing seasonal colds or warts—she was introducing her friends to the art of homeopathy itself. Dulcy’s passion blossomed into a thriving online shop where she sold homeopathic tinctures, educating her customers about remedies that aligned with their unique symptoms. What had once been a source of struggle became her inspiration to empower others, tying her love for plants and nature back to the principles of homeopathy.

An engineer by training, Kamal hails from a small town in India, nestled at the base of the Himalayas. He is a Gold Medalist from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India, and holds an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, CA, where his research focused on designing wireless circuits for MRI systems. Since graduating in 2016, he has been actively working in the field of wireless communication.
Kamal’s exposure to homeopathy began in childhood, where it played a significant role in managing various ailments, including his chronic sinus issues. After the birth of his son, he relied on homeopathy under the guidance of a close homeopath friend, and was impressed by how effectively it resolved many of his son’s health concerns.
The most transformative period of his journey came during the COVID-19 pandemic. While in India, Kamal and his family experienced the challenges of lockdown, where medical assistance was scarce, and even doctors were unwilling to provide consultations. Determined to take matters into his own hands, he spent the next six months deeply immersed in homeopathic literature and engaged in weekly discussions with his homeopath friend.
Through this intensive learning experience, he discovered a profound passion for homeopathy. As he began applying his knowledge, primarily in bio-chem remedies, Kamal witnessed firsthand the positive impact on his family’s health, further fueling his dedication to the practice. While he felt confident in managing acute cases with his self-taught expertise, he recognized the importance of formal education to enhance his capabilities. This led him to enroll at Homeopathy School International in Boulder, Colorado, where he is now a second-year student, working toward his Homeopathy Certification.
