How does the semester-based Practicum Option
work?
At the beginning of each semester, participants
receive a packet containing a syllabus, calendar, study materials,
assignments and DVD-sets with actual clinic cases. The DVDs
provide via video actual cases with follow-ups. Participants
watch the cases and write case reports for each clinic case
and follow-up. Each case report is submitted via email and
reviewed by a CHC certified homeopath.
Ten individual cases with twenty (two per case)
follow-ups are also taken, analyzed and written up by each
participant. Participants receive specific feedback on all
clinic and individual case reports. Six cases are also viewed
and analyzed through the Homeopathic Symposium. Analysis
of these cases is verified through an online quiz and summary
reports.
Practice similar to that required for national
certification in the areas of materia medica, health sciences
and repertory is provided through written materials and practice
quizzes. Preparation and supervision is provided exclusively
by CHCCertified Homeopaths.
