Love is one of the most complex and intense emotions known to humankind. Through literature, poetry, music and movies love has been addressed for centuries. Every aspect of it has been explored from heavenly delight to rock bottom. For two centuries homeopaths have categorized
a number of emotions, and found natural medicines to balance them. The beauty of homeopathy is that it can help soothe a broken heart, reduce the anxiety of lost new love and lessen grief from the death of a loved one. Homeopathy is the study of body, heart, mind and soul. Homeopathic treatment has been very effective in re-establishing a balanced mental-emotional state, without side effects.

Unrequited love has caused many tragedies which have even led to suicides at times. When the emotion is too strong, life just doesn’t seem to be the same any more.

Homeopathy is wonderfully specific about sadness or symptoms as a result of unrequited love. The goal of the homeopathic interview is to find out how the person was affected. The homeopathic practitioner asks to understand the following: Does this person feel deceived, sad, suicidal, or embarrassed? Do they brood about their love, can’t stop thinking about it? Are they looking for revenge? Does this affect their sleep? What kind of limitation does this emotional state create?
The homeopathic Repertory lists symptoms in rubrics and points to homeopathic remedies that assist in reducing the suffering or cure the symptoms. Rubrics used for unrequited love would be listed in the mind section of the book (or software):
