"I have been a professional
student my whole adult life, so I feel that I have a lot of experience
with which to compare my tenure at HSI. The classes are focused,
well organized and taught in a way to be intellectually rigorous
and stimulating. The program makes the study of homeopathy
come to life, providing an excellent foundation to become a
good practitioner. I can sincerely say that the two years at
HSI yielded one of the most fulfilling learning opportunities
I've ever had." - Kiersten Stevenson, CHom |

"The Homeopathy School has given
me an extraordinary homeopathic education. As a distance student,
the classroom experience came to me on top-quality DVDs and I
was able to learn along with my classmates. The instruction was
among the finest available and the scope of the information prepared
me for a successful homeopathic practice. My instructors were
always available by phone or email." -

History and Development of HSI
In 1991, the Classical Homeopathy
Certificate Program was established
as a state-approved branch of the Massage Therapy
Institute of Colorado. The original program, founded by Mark Manton and Barbara Seideneck,
enrolled twenty-three students at the Denver, Colorado site. This was
one of the first modern homeopathy programs offered in the United States.
Further development and expansion lead to establishing
the school as an independent institution. In 1994, the school relocated
to Boulder, Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. By September
1996 the school earned its non-profit status 501(C3).
In response to a growing demand for homeopathic education by individuals
unable to attend classes in Boulder, the Distance
Education Program was established in 2002. Nationally and internationally recognized
for excellence in homeopathic education, the Homeopathy
School International (HSI) now offers a variety of study options tailored to students worldwide.
Bonded and Approved
HSI is a bonded, non-profit corporation, approved
and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher
Education, Private
Occupational School Board. The school has graduated professional
homeopaths since 1992.
HSI Advisory Board
The school's advisory board provides recommendations and advice for the continuing
improvement and enrichment of the school's educational program. The council
consists of practitioners, community members, students, alumni, and representatives
from related fields. The board meets bi-annually in October and March.
National Affiliations
HSI supports all efforts to unify standards
for homeopathic education and certification formulated by the Council
for Homeopathic Certification, the International Council
for Classical Homeopathy,
the Council for Homeopathic Education, the North American
Network of Homeopathic Educators, and the North American
of Society of Homeopaths.
